Accra: The John Dramani Mahama-led government has constituted a high-level post-flood mitigation conference at the Jubilee House on Friday, July 4, 2026, following the devastating floods that claimed lives, displaced residents, and caused widespread destruction across parts of the Greater Accra Region and other affected areas.
According to Ghana Web, the conference is expected to bring together key government officials, emergency response agencies, local government authorities, and other stakeholders. The focus will be on assessing the impact of the disaster, reviewing the emergency response, and outlining immediate and long-term measures to mitigate future flooding.
