According to Ghana Web, the Minister emphasized that the conduct of the Bole SHS teacher is not an act that should be condoned. He highlighted the need for intensified parental control and guidance to combat such issues. The Minister stressed that safeguarding students requires a collective effort involving parents, schools, communities, and government institutions to promote discipline and protect children from abuse.
Beyond the incident, Be-Awuribe reaffirmed the government's commitment to addressing the broader developmental challenges confronting the Savannah Region. He mentioned ongoing investments in road infrastructure, education, healthcare, and water supply as part of the efforts to tackle these challenges. The Minister noted that while the government continues to improve social infrastructure, communities also have a responsibility to uphold values that protect children and create safe learning environments.
