Twifo praso: Mr Theophilus Vondee, Member of Parliament for the Twifo-Atti-Morkwa constituency, has claimed that the New Patriotic Party (NPP) falls short compared to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in terms of national development efforts. Speaking at the reopening ceremony of the renovated Twifo Praso A/D Basic School, Mr Vondee emphasized that the NDC government had completed numerous development projects within just 18 months.
According to Ghana News Agency, the event took place in conjunction with the school's second speech and prize-giving day. Mr Vondee highlighted achievements in education, health, and other social interventions as part of the NDC's accomplishments. He further remarked that if governance were evaluated as an exam, the NDC would excel, suggesting that choosing the NPP could result in prolonged opposition due to a lack of governance expertise.
Mr Isaac Yawson, the District Chief Executive for Twifo-Atti-Morkwa, noted that the school had been neglected for over two decades. He underscored the significance of the renovation, which has created a conducive environment for learning. Mr Yawson encouraged students to utilize the improved facilities to secure a promising future for themselves and their district.
The head teacher, Mr Emmanuel Entinfful Koomson, praised Mr Yawson for his commitment and efforts. He observed that the renovation had revitalized the spirit of Twifo Praso A/D Basic School, reflecting positive changes in the school's environment.
