According to Ghana Web, the tractor was being transported on a trailer with a man seated in the driver's seat, a situation that social media users described as hazardous. The video shows the tractor entangled in the electrical cables, with the man on board attempting to lift and maneuver the wires over the vehicle to enable the trailer to proceed.
The incident raised significant safety concerns as commercial vehicles, loaded with passengers, were parked dangerously close to the falling cables, while numerous bystanders stood nearby. The footage shows people scrambling for safety as the cables came down, leaving them strewn across the road and creating an obstacle for residents trying to avoid stepping on them.
The individual who recorded the video claimed to have alerted the Sowutuom police about the incident, but reportedly there was no response to the calls.
