Wa East MP Dr. Jasaw Allocates GH?75,000 for Emergency Road Repair Fueling

Wa east: The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Member of Parliament (MP) for Wa East, Dr. Godfred Seidu Jasaw, has released GH?75,000 from his share of the Common Fund to support emergency road works across the Constituency. The funds presented to the Wa East District Assembly were earmarked for fueling grader machines under the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) and for opening up critical roads to improve accessibility. According to Ghana News Agency, a statement issued by Dr. Jasaw, the MP, highlighted this financial contribution as part of his ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure in the region. Mr. Adamu Sayibu, the District Chief Executive, who received the cheque on behalf of the Assembly, expressed gratitude for Dr. Jasaw's continuous collaboration and commitment to the district's development. The statement assured that the money will be used for its intended purpose to help open up some critical roads and tackle emergency repair works. It added that the intervention is expected to im prove road accessibility and accelerate development in Wa East. This donation comes at a crucial time when many communities in the Constituency face challenges with road access, particularly during the rainy season. The support is anticipated to enhance the movement of people, goods, and services and boost economic activity across Wa East.
