According to Ghana News Agency, supporters across the municipality, proudly wearing Arsenal's red and white colors, have been celebrating the club's historic achievement by flying the team's flags. Mr. Wisdom Agboworkunu, a devoted fan from Vui, shared in an interview that reaching the finals is a reward for years of loyalty during trophyless seasons. He expressed a renewed faith in the club's potential, which has never seemed closer to reality over the past two decades.
Mr. Agboworkunu, a lifelong Arsenal supporter since the Thierry Henry era, admitted to having restless nights since Arsenal's spot in the final was confirmed on May 4, following a 1-1 draw against Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid. He expressed his emotional reaction, stating, "I wept with joy, it was tears of joy for waiting for twenty years to get to the UCL grand finale, which finally find a foothold. I believe my beloved Arsenal will defeat the defending champions PSG to lift the trophy."
Madam Dzifa Shillah, a provision store owner who has adorned her stall in Arsenal colors, remarked on the team's hunger, unity, and resilience.
