Accra: Veteran Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang has highlighted the importance of proper management in the entertainment industry, stating that it allows artistes to focus fully on their craft. Speaking in an interview with Felicia Osei on Onua FM, the actor revealed that he has been under the management of Lynx Entertainment for some years now.
According to Ghana Web, Anang emphasized that having a management team reduces the burden on artistes by handling logistics, negotiations, and other administrative responsibilities. "Being under management also allows us, the artistes to focus on what we're supposed to do. We wouldn't have to go and negotiate, think of where we would sleep and other stuff," he explained.
He noted that trying to manage every aspect of one's career personally can take valuable time away from improving one's talent and skills. "If that happens, it takes quality time away from you. Maybe time to learn or time to improve on your skill, then you will be handling things someone is supposed to handle," he said.
The actor further stressed that having professional management can play a major role in the growth and success of entertainers. "That really helps when you're under management," he added.
