Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency Opens Nominations for NPP Polling Station Executives

Accra: The Atwima Nwabiagya South constituency of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has initiated the process for selecting new polling station executives by opening nominations for various positions within the party.

According to Ghana News Agency, the available positions include polling station chairperson, secretary, treasurer, organizer, women organizer, communications, and electoral affairs officer. Mr. Stephen Boateng, the constituency chairman, revealed in an interview that the nomination period will span five days.

The constituency has strategically divided its 196 polling stations into eight zones to streamline the nomination process and ensure fairness for all participants. Mr. Boateng emphasized the importance of providing equal opportunities for all party members interested in serving in these roles.

Further, Mr. Boateng affirmed the constituency executives' commitment to adhering to the national party's directives for the conduct of the nominations. He called upon the candidates and party members to ensure cooperation for a peaceful and orderly execution of the nomination process.

At the time of reporting, approximately 100 individuals had already collected nomination forms to vie for positions across the polling stations in the constituency.
