Accra: Dr Nana Guan Bay, Chief Executive Officer of the Buan Bay Herbal and Spiritual Centre, has issued a warning to President John Dramani Mahama, urging him to conduct a reshuffle of his government appointees by June 2026 to avoid potential embarrassment caused by some of his current officials.
According to Ghana Web, Dr Guan Bay shared his insights during an interview on Nhyira FM, expressing that he had foreseen the challenges the government would face before the December 7 general elections. He noted that while President Mahama's first year in office was predicted to be smooth, the second year would present certain difficulties.
Dr Guan Bay highlighted the Ministry of Communications, currently led by Samuel Nartey George, as a key area that might come under scrutiny if changes are not implemented. He emphasized the importance of a reshuffle to prevent some appointees from casting the government in a negative light.
He reiterated his confidence in his predictions, stating, "My predictions are always true. I am certain they will come to pass. That is why I do not use the word if." Dr Guan Bay's comments underline his belief in the necessity of timely governmental adjustments to maintain stability and confidence.
