According to Ghana Web, MC Yaa Yeboah argued that the authorities need to be straightforward and honest with the citizens rather than underestimating their intelligence. She questioned the official narrative, referencing the fire outbreak in Akosombo, and highlighted how other countries proactively inform their citizens about such issues, a practice she noted is lacking in Ghana.
MC Yaa Yeboah emphasized the need for the government to communicate the real issues contributing to the power crisis, commonly referred to as 'dumsor'. She expressed her concern that the lack of transparency undermines the intelligence of Ghanaians, calling on leaders to provide truthful information about the situation.
Furthermore, MC Yaa Yeboah criticized the politicization of important national issues, which she believes has adversely impacted the lives of ordinary citizens.
