Dambai: A member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Communication Team in the Krachi East Constituency, Mr. Abramani Alhassan, has declared his intention to contest the position of Nasara Organizer of the party in the constituency.
According to Ghana News Agency, Mr. Alhassan stated that his decision is part of efforts to contribute to the strengthening of the party's grassroots structures, particularly within Zongo and settler communities. He expressed a vision to reposition the Nasara Wing to play a more strategic role in the party's mobilization and outreach efforts ahead of the 2028 general election.
Mr. Alhassan pledged to prioritize effective community engagement, voter education, youth empowerment, and welfare initiatives to deepen the party's support base in Zongo communities across the constituency. He emphasized that the Nasara Wing is a vital component of the NPP's grassroots architecture and requires dynamic leadership to maximize its impact.
He expressed his intention to work closely with Islamic clerics, traditional authorities, youth groups, and community opinion leaders to strengthen the party's relations with residents in Zongo communities. The aspiring Nasara Organizer highlighted the importance of unity and collective commitment among party faithful to ensure electoral success in future polls.
Mr. Alhassan appealed to delegates to support his bid, assuring them of transparent, inclusive, and results-oriented leadership if elected. The NPP is expected to hold internal constituency elections later this year as part of preparations towards the 2028 general election.
