Sekondi: The Ghana Police Service has reported that a 27-year-old woman identified as Mariama Ibrahim has gone missing.
According to Ghana Web, Mariama Ibrahim was last seen on February 28, 2026, after leaving her boyfriend's residence in Effiekuma. She had visited her boyfriend, Tijani Mohammed, on February 25, 2026, and departed from his house on February 28, 2026, at approximately 10:00 a.m., heading towards an unknown destination.
Efforts to contact Mariama have been unsuccessful since her phone was switched off. A statement revealed that Salamatu Suriyah Ibrahim, along with her sister Priscilla Amponsah and Karen Donkor, reported to the RCID in Sekondi that their junior sister, Mariama, had visited her boyfriend and subsequently went missing.
The police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Mariama. Despite efforts to reach her, her phone remains switched off, and her whereabouts are unknown. The public is urged to provide any information that could help find her.
