New Kotoko Board to Determine Head Coach Prince Owusu’s Future

Kumasi: Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prince Owusu, has acknowledged the growing calls from sections of the club's supporters for his removal, but he insists that the decision regarding his tenure ultimately rests with the newly appointed Board.

According to Ghana Web, Owusu addressed the situation following a series of disappointing results that have left fans of the Porcupine Warriors feeling frustrated. He admitted to understanding the concerns of the supporters but emphasized that his primary focus remains on enhancing the team's performance rather than succumbing to external pressures.

Owusu, while reflecting on the pressures of his role, stated, "As a coach, you know that when results don't go your way, people will talk. That is part of the job." Despite the team's inconsistent performance in the league, he remains optimistic about their prospects in the Ghana Premier League title race. Owusu believes the competition is still open and remains confident that his team has the potential to contend for the championship.
