Accra: Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie has shared a thought-provoking message on happiness and success, urging his fans to focus on what truly matters in life. In a post shared on X on February 24, 2026, the rapper noted that humans, by nature, often dream of achieving greatness. However, when that greatness is finally attained, they sometimes realize it does not represent the true state of happiness they once imagined.
According to Ghana Web, Sarkodie further elaborated on his perspective by joining a campaign to make Africa borderless, highlighting the common tendency among people to long for what they do not have, believing it holds the key to their happiness. "We often long for what we do not have, believing it holds the key to our happiness. But trust me. once it is in your hands, time gently reveals that it was never the treasure you imagined," he wrote.
Sarkodie emphasized that true joy is not found in luxury and encouraged individuals to appreciate and document their journey through life as they strive for success and wealth. He advised, "True joy is beyond price. So, as you chase what you think will complete you, do not forget to savour the quiet beauty of the journey between now and then."
