Accra: Ghanaian singer Darkovibes has shared details of a dream he once had about dancehall musician Shatta Wale. In an interview with MC Portfolio, shared on X on February 4, 2026, Darkovibes revealed that he had a dream in which the dancehall musician cautioned him against promoting his music outside the country.
According to Ghana Web, Shatta Wale advised that he remain in Ghana and focus on growing his fanbase locally. Darkovibes further explained that following the dream, his primary focus has been on expanding his fanbase. He expressed, "I had a dream where Shatta Wale appeared to me. Even before that, he had told people to advise me on how to go about my craft. And ever since that dream, I have been focused on expanding my fanbase."
Darkovibes also noted the lack of support he has received within the entertainment industry. He mentioned ongoing issues between brands and artistes, stating, "I have always honoured our fathers because they have really done so much for me. I have never really had any support in the industry."
