Sigma Appliances Awards GHS 1 Million in Rebates to Dealers

Accra: Platinum Impex, operating under the brand Sigma Appliances, has marked a significant milestone by distributing over GHS 1,000,000 in cash rebates to its wholesale partners. This initiative aligns with the company's commitment to 'powering growth together', underlining its dedication to fostering strong partnerships.

According to Ghana News Agency, these rewards were issued through the company's flagship loyalty initiative, the Platinum Partner Programme. Launched in January 2025, this program aims to transcend traditional supplier-buyer relationships. It operates on a points-based system, allowing dealers to determine their rewards based on sales volume, with one Platinum Point awarded for every GHS 100 spent. The rebates have been credited to dealer accounts as credit notes, directly offsetting their procurement costs for the upcoming year, 2026.

Madam Marie D. Sam, Marketing Manager at Platinum Impex, expressed pride in the program's success, stating, "When we introduced this program, we promised our partners that their hard work would translate into measurable business benefits." She emphasized the significance of reinvesting approximately GHS 1 million into dealers' businesses, noting that it demonstrates the intertwined growth of Sigma Appliances and its partners. The GHS 1 million payout signifies the company's intent to compete at the highest level, ensuring mutual success.

The program features six reward tiers, from Amber to Platinum, offering rebates of up to 1 percent on total annual turnover. To qualify, dealers must achieve a minimum threshold of 5,000 points. Mr. Ahmad Taan, General Manager of Platinum Impex, highlighted the strategic importance of the initiative and extended congratulations to dealers who redeemed their rebates for 2025. He encouraged partners who didn't meet the target to strive for success in 2026, assuring them of the company's support.

Mr. Taan underscored the role of dealers as the brand's frontline, emphasizing that providing tangible incentives ensures dealers have the liquidity and support needed for growth. He stated, "We are building a winning team, and as we often say in the field, 'Sigma Dier, No size!' - the growth we are seeing is truly unmatched."
