CTVET Announces Provisional Results for 2025 May/June Certificate II Examinations

Accra: The Commission for Technical and Vocational Education and Training (CTVET) has announced the release of provisional results for the 2025 May/June Certificate II examinations. This release includes results for core, elective, and other technical programs and covers over 55,000 candidates from across the country.

According to Ghana News Agency, a statement from the Public Relations Unit on behalf of Mr. Zakaria Sulemana, the Director-General, informed that candidates can access their results online using their Index Numbers and Unique Reference Numbers found on their index slips. The Certificate II examinations play a crucial role in technical and vocational certification, featuring core subjects such as English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, Social Studies, and Entrepreneurship, along with elective components in various trade and professional areas.

This year, 55,018 candidates participated in the examinations, with 40,455 achieving general passes, equating to a 73.5 percent success rate. An official associated with the process expressed to Ghana News Agency that this year's performance highlights steady progress in the competence of learners across TVET institutions.

Of the total candidates, 40,339 were males and 14,956 were females, accounting for 73 percent and 27 percent, respectively. CTVET observed that while interest among males remains strong, efforts to enhance female participation in technical fields continue to be a priority.

The Commission also revealed that results for 112 candidates have been withheld due to suspected examination malpractices, pending further investigations. Additional results are withheld for administrative reasons and will be released once the issues are addressed.

The statement urged candidates to promptly verify their results and to report any technical issues through official channels.
