Cape Coast: Little Angels Trust, a charitable organisation dedicated to supporting children with life-threatening illnesses, has made a significant impact at the Cape Coast Teaching Hospital (CCTH) by donating essential health items and gifts to young patients. According to Ghana News Agency, each gift, whether it was clothing, footwear, candies, water, snacks, drinks, balloons, toys, or books, provided the children with a much-needed distraction from their medical challenges. These thoughtful gestures helped instill a sense of normalcy and happiness during their difficult times. The children, who are patients at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Delivery, Orthopedic, and Children's wards, displayed expressions of pure joy and hope as they received their gifts. This initiative highlighted the power of kindness and community support in healing young hearts. In addition to the gifts, the hospital also received quantities of personal protective equipment, detergents, hand sanitizers, and medical syringes. Thi s gesture aimed to enhance the well-being of young patients facing serious health challenges by providing not just medical support but also emotional comfort.
