KUMASI: Nathaniel Kyeremeh, widely recognized as DJ Bongo, has been nominated for the prestigious Best DJ in the Ashanti Region category at the 2024 Ghana DJ Awards. This nomination marks a significant milestone for DJ Bongo, who is the official DJ for popular shows such as Dryve of Ur Lyfe, Friday Night Mix, and Party Pressure on Y102.5FM in Kumasi.
According to Ghana Web, while DJ Bongo is no stranger to the Ghana DJ Awards, this is his first nomination in the regional category, highlighting his growing influence and status within the industry. Over the years, DJ Bongo has garnered a dedicated following, thanks to his distinctive ear for quality music and ability to engage radio listeners, concert-goers, and event organizers alike.
A graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Information Technology Education from the University of Education, Winneba-Kumasi, DJ Bongo’s unique blend of technology and music expertise has set him apart from his peers. The Guinness Ghana DJ Awards, known for celebrating and honoring
the contributions of DJs to the local music scene, will host its 2024 ceremony on November 9 at the Palms Convention Centre, marking 12 years of recognizing exceptional talent in Ghana’s DJ landscape.
