Ghana Football Association [GFA] are in talks with the National Sports Authority as part of plans to shift the Black Galaxies game against Nigeria to the Baba Yara Stadium
Ghana will clash with their West African neighbours in the final round of qualifiers later this month.
The Galaxies recorded a 3-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium before snatching a late win at Cotonou to end teh tie 4-0 on aggregate.
According to reports, the Ghana FA see the Nigerian hurdle is a huge task that will the local-based national team will need massive home support to surpass and the Baba Yara Sports Stadium is the right place for the game.
The numbers during the Benin game in Cape Coast, was not encouraging enough for such a crucial qualifier and the FA fear that might reoccur against Nigeria.
Ghana will play Nigeria at the weekend of August 26-28.
The CHAN will be hosted in Algeria from 8th January 2023 to 31st January, 2023.
The Galaxies last played in the final of the competiton in 2014, losing to Libya.
