A digital media platform is looking for suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of regional correspondents in the following regions:
Central Region
Northern Region
Volta Region
Oti Region
Savannah Region
Brong Ahafo Region
Ahafo Region
North-East Region
Key Duties and Responsibilities
– Conduct interviews, write news articles and features
– Cover and report news events and breaking news in real-time
– Pitch story ideas to editors
– Do live digital reports from the field and cover special assignments
– Contribute to video, online and social media content
Qualification
Excellent oral and written communications skills in English
Strong writing skills and ability to convey information in a clear, concise, and conversational manner
Excellent live reporting skills and strong on-camera presentation skills
Should be able to undertake standup media
Strong research skills, including the ability to navigate online search engines
