Tema, – The Osu Traditional Council, headed by the Teteete Nii Nortey Owuo IV, the Paramount Chief, has expressed appreciation to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo for his support during the funeral of their late Paramount Chief, Nii Okwei Kinka Dowuona VI.
The chiefs said they were also grateful to the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo Addo, and Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives, who stood with the people of Osu every step of the way during the bereavement and royal funeral rites.
This is contained in a press statement signed by the Dzasete of Osu Kinkawe Dzaase, Nii Saban Atsen VII.
It called for all to unite behind the newly installed Paramount Chief, Teteete Nii Nortey Owuo IV, who had successfully undergone all the necessary enstoolment rites, to bring development to the traditional area.
