The novel coronavirus pandemic brought several challenges and triggered a conversation about existing educational systems. It became obvious the highest performing educational systems are those that combine equity with quality, which gives all children opportunities for good quality education.
Management of Lycee Francais International Jacques Prévert, popularly known as the French School, one of the leading educational institutions providing quality education has announced Saturday 5th February 2022 as the date for this year’s edition of its annual Open Day event.
Open Day is an event organized by the management of the school to host members of the public in the school to have first-hand information on the operations of the school as well as give them a deeper insight into the school’s academic structure and processes.
The event, which commences at 9 am and ends at 12noon, will afford members of the public the opportunity to engage with members of the school community and inspect the school’s facilities through a specially guided tour.
In addition, will be interactive sessions with trained and experienced teachers and other professional staff of the school with members of the public. They will be ready to have conversations on a wide range of subjects.
The day will also witness a presentation on the school’s curriculum, which is centered on developing strong analytical skills, oral communication, autonomy, a sense of organization, and reasoning.
As the only French accredited international school in Ghana, Lycee Francais International Jacques Prevert has a multicultural student population and an environment that will be experienced firsthand by guests on the day.
About this year’s Open Day, the headmaster of the school, Mr. David Ballieu said, “we offer a complete program from nursery school to the final year of high school. I will urge all parents to enroll their child in the Lycée Français International d’Accra for excellence and fulfillment and multiculturalism as we have some of the best-trained teachers who are often taking in-service training.
You are assured of an excellent preparation of your children towards their French, English, and Spanish language certifications, leading to further studies in the best French and international schools and universities”.
He added that the school has the right facilities and resources with the opening of a British international section from Grade 1 to Grade 12 (CP to Terminale), elective courses in Mathematics, Law, Latin, and Theater in high school, and the teaching of the Arabic language in primary and secondary.
Management is excited to be welcoming members of the general public to the school on Saturday 5th February 2022, located at East Legon, not far from GT- bank or Miklin hotel between 9 am and 12noon.
