Keep the pleasure forever

Rush Energy Drink in collaboration with the Ghana Aids Commission has organized the 3rd Annual Valentine’s Day, “Keep the pleasure forever” Campaign for tertiary students in Ghana.

The event is purposed to help in reducing the high rate of HIV/AIDS cases among the youths in Ghana.

The Campaign also seeks to give packages to students on every Valentine’s Day to put smiles on their faces and also to educate them on prevention against Sexually Transmitted diseases by sharing contraceptives and other items.

This year, it started at Elizabeth Frances Sey Hall at the University of Ghana Legon.

Head of Events for Twellium Industrial Company Ghana, Mr. Kendrick Yehowada said, “Valentine is perceived by Ghanaians as a time to show love to our loved ones and we wish to advise the youth to protect themselves when they want to be intimate. We want them to know we care so much about them because of the support they show our brands especially Rush Energy drink”.

Keep the pleasure forever initiative is sharing packages which consist of a pack of Condom, a bottle of Rush Energy drink, chocolate biscuits, and other items to 5,000 students in 3 universities such as the University of Ghana Legon, University of Professional Studies, and Accra Technical University.

One of the recipients of the packages expressed his gratitude by saying, “I am very excited about this because there are people who wouldn’t receive a present on Val’s day so this will make them feel loved also there are students who feel shy to visit the pharmacy to buy condoms and we are getting it for free so it’s a good initiative”.

Mr. Yehowada also added that “with the media spreading the message we want to remind people to keep the pleasure forever in a safe way”.
