Ghanaian giants, Hearts of Oak have announced that the contract with defender Nuru Sulley has been terminated.
The Phobians in 2020 completed the signing of the experienced centre-back for a period of two years.
After a year, the contract of the player has been severed on mutual grounds as he moves on to a new chapter of his career.
“Hearts of oak mutually paths way with Nuru Sulley. The club will like to thank him for his service during his stint with us,” an official statement from Hearts of Oak said on Wednesday afternoon.
The contract termination has come a few weeks after Nuru Sulley revealed in an interview that he would like to leave the club.
He argued that the lack of playing time at the club has left him worried and hence there was the need to be allowed to leave the club to join a side where he will enjoy regular playing time.
