Deputy Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Alfred Tuah-Yeboah, has assured that he would execute the mandate conferred on him with diligence, integrity and commitment to justify the confidence reposed in him by the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.
“I have told myself that I am going to serve with diligence, integrity and commitment in the office offered me by the President. This is because whatever decision or action I take in my new position has effects on the entire country”, he stated, adding that he would give his boss, Godfred Yeboah Dame, the maximum support to ensure the successful execution of tasks at the ministry.
He made these remarks at a social event organized in his honour by his friends and well-wishers in Sunyani over the weekend.
The Deputy AG stated, “Whatever you commit yourself to do in this world, you may think nobody sees or knows about it but for all you know, someone is watching you from afar……”
“It is true that I’ve been in politics for some time now. I’ve learnt through time and history that to cut your teeth in politics, one must learn through falling and rising, believing that there is always an appointed time when God makes all things beautiful.” Loyalty, he said, “is very important even when our personal ambitions suffer a jolt at party contests.”
Lawyer Tuah-Yeboah encouraged people not to give up in life when they suffer setbacks in their attempts at reaching certain goals in their strive to get into leadership, saying “delays are not denials.
The deputy minister paid glowing tribute to the late legendary Lawyer Otoo Essel of the Asempa Chambers for the mentorship he received from him which, has greatly shaped his, (Tuah-Yeboah’s) legal career and brought him this far.
Lawyer Alfred-Tuah has about 20 years of experience at the Bar and has been the lead partner at the Asempa Chambers since 2015.
He is a product of the Sunyani Senior High School, the University of Ghana, the Ghana Law School and the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College.
