Chris Hughton’s job description has been spelt out clearly to him – GFA

Henry Asante Twum, Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association [GFA] has said the job description of Chris Hughton has been clearly communicated to him.

The former Irish manager on Wednesday was appointed as the new technical advisor to the newly formed Black Stars technical team led by Otto Addo.

Following his appointment, Ghanaians have expressed their worry over the execution of his job.

With Bernhard Lippert in charge as the technical director of the FA, many believe Hughton will find it difficult to work.

However, Asante Twum in an interview said Hughton’s job description has been clearly communicated to him.

“The Ghana Football Association [GFA] made it clear to Chris Hughton the kind of role he will play in the Black Stars team,” he told Kumasi based Sikka FM.

Meanwhile, George Boateng and Mas-Ud Didi Dramani have also been appointed assistant coaches.

The newly formed technical team will lead the Black Stars against Nigeria next month in the 2022 World Cup playoff.

The Black Stars will take on the Super Eagles at the Cape Coast stadium on March 24 before travelling to Nigeria for the 2nd leg at the Abuja Sports stadium on Sunday, March 27, 2022.
