Apostle Adulai marks 40 years in Ministry

Hohoe (V/R),- Apostle Dr Ernest Narh Adulai, the Head Pastor of the Revival Assemblies of God Church in Hohoe, has described his ministerial journey as a close walk with God.

He said his decision to become a servant of God was based on how his life was spared.

Apostle Adulai speaking to the media after a church service held to celebrate his 40th anniversary in the Ministry, recounted how all his four brothers died mysteriously.

“When I also fell sick like them, I prayed to the Lord that if he should heal me, I will give my life to him. That has been the beginning of the journey.”

He said his ministry was more towards youth and women empowerment and providing scholarships for people who turned out to be successful personalities.

Apostle Adulai noted that as part of the celebrations, plans were underway to establish an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at the Hohoe Municipal Hospital to serve people from the northern part of the region.

He said hospital consumables were and would be donated as a form of staying relevant in society.

Apostle Adulai noted that the relationship with the traditional authorities there had not been so bad adding that there was the need for some traditions which sought to enslave and suppress women needed to be modernised.

He said he would serve the congregation better in the years ahead of him for the “Lord to be glorified.”

Apostle Adulai expressed gratitude to the congregation, various groups in the church, traditional and religious leaders for their immense contribution over the years.

Reverend Dr Harry Stein Morgan Insaidoo, a former Deputy General Superintendent, Assemblies of God, Ghana, in a sermon said Apostle Adulai deserved to be honoured.

“We must honour those who have laboured.”

He said he sacrificed and worked hard to sustain the faith of the Church in the Volta Region despite the opportunities that were available to them.

“It is easy to say 40 years but this very 40 years is not easy.”

Presentations were made by religious and traditional leaders, various groups in the church and children of Apostle Adulai.

Apostle Adulai, born on November 15, 1957 was a former Volta Regional Superintendent of Assemblies of God, Ghana.
