Ghana international David Accam has sealed his move from Nashville SC to Swedish club Hammarby IF on a one-year deal.
After weeks of pre-season, the 2021 Swedish Allsvenskan is set to start next week with clubs geared up to stage a good challenge to win the title at the end of the campaign.
Just like any other club, Hammarby IF has been busy in the transfer window looking to bring in additions to strengthen their squad.
On the back of successful negotiations, the team has secured the services of Ghana attacker David Accam for the entire season.
“David Accam returns to Swedish football after six years in MLS. Hammarby has agreed with Accam’s current club Nashville SC and MLS on a loan for the 2021 season, with an option for another year,” Hammarby IF announced on Thursday.
The announcement on the club’s official website continues, “With the loan of David Accam, Hammarby strengthens in the offensive line, and then mainly the outer position where the 30-year-old Ghanaian usually plays.”
David Accam already has experienced in the Swedish Allsvenskan having in the past played for Östersunds FK and Helsingborgs IF.
