Leyland Paints trains over 1000 painters across Ghana

In a bid to sharpen and build the capacity of painters in Ghana, BBC Industrials Co. (Gh) Ltd, the manufacturers of Leyland Paints have trained over 1000 painters across the country on how to skillfully apply their products to perfection.

Dubbed Leyland Paints Painters Program, several young and old painters were taken through capacity training in the Western, Central, Greater Accra and Ashanti regions.

The Leyland Paints Painters program is a five-module course targeted at professional painters and beginners alike. Participants got to enhance their expertise and get hands-on training using the extensive product range by Leyland.

The program also provides the platform for the company – which is one of the leading manufacturers of paint in Ghana – to listen to the painters’ needs and apply them in future product development.

Belo Cida Haruna, the Marketing Manager for Leyland Paints, Fine Nest Paints, Gold Paints & Home Charm noted that several of such programs will be held in the future to ensure that painters constantly upgrade their skills on how to apply their products.

Mr Haruna added that the company’s interest is not only to sell paints but to ensure that painters are able to properly apply their products.

Some of the painters were also gifted souvenirs and other paint tools from Leyland Paints.

Over the years, BBC Industrials have developed a wide range of decorative and protective home and industrial products such as high-performance Acrylic paints, Emulsion paints, Oil paints, Primers, Finishes, Adhesives and Thinners with the aim of providing a one-stop solution to all the tropical paint needs of Ghanaians.

All these have yielded outstanding results and have rapidly become the brands of choice in Ghanaian households and an established name in the paints and decorative industry in Ghana.
