Prolific striker, Diawisie Taylor scored for Karela United on Sunday afternoon when the side defeated Ebusua Dwarfs 2-1 on the road.
The Anyinase-based club today visited the Cape Coast Stadium to take on Dwarfs on matchday 14 of the ongoing 2020/2021 Ghana Premier League season.
Setting off on a bright note, Karela United took the game to the home team as they constantly asked questions in their effort to get on the scoresheet.
Finally, in the 23rd minute, a strike from midfielder Umar Bashir handed Karela United a deserved lead.
Twenty minutes later, poster boy Diawisie Taylor was presented with a good chance to score to double the lead for Karela United.
The lethal striker made no mistake as he slotted his effort into the back of the Ebusua Dwarfs net.
Despite the home team scoring a consolation goal through Benjamin Acquah in the second half, Karela United held on to win 2-1 at the end of the game.
Today’s win means that Karela United reclaims the top spot on the Ghana Premier League table as they keep hopes of winning the title alive.
