Every player will fight to play under Milovan Rajevac – Agyemang Badu lauds the re-appointment of the Serbian gaffer

Former Ghana midfielder, midfielder Emmanuel Agyemang Badu has lauded the re-appointment of Milovan Rajevac.

The Serbian trainer has returned to the country after leaving in 2010.

The 67-year-old signed a one-year renewable contract with the Ghana Football Association [GFA], replacing CK Akonnor.

The Black Stars returned to winning ways in their 2022 Fifa World Cup qualifiers with a 3-1 win against the Warriors of Zimbabwe in the matchday three games before snatching an important 1-0 win in Harare to keep their qualifications chances for the Mundial alive

Speaking on Miloavan’s instant impact, the former Asante Kotoko and Udinese midfielder stated that the gaffer will bring changes to the Black Stars team adding that every player will fight to maintain their place in the team which is healthy for the team.

“Milovan will bring changes to the team and it is a plus to the team because the competition will aid the players to fight for positions,” he told Accra based Rainbow Radio.

He added that Milovan is difficult to be impressed so he makes sure that he sticks to his decisions so he will definitely bring changes to the team.

Ghana sit 2nd with 9 points and will resume their qualifiers in November with an away game against Ethiopia before a final home game against South Africa at the Cape Coast Stadium.
