Accra,- Dr Darius Osei, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the University of Ghana Medical Centre, has received an award in recognition of his exemplary leadership style.
The 2021 Ghana Leadership Award was conferred on him together with other 26 individuals at a ceremony over the weekend.
A statement copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA), in Accra, has said.
Rev Emmanuel Nash, Founder of the Award Scheme, said Dr. Osei was nominated for his unique leadership style and how he groomed new set of leaders wherever he worked.
Other recipients of the Leadership Award are: the CEO of the National Insurance Commission, Dr. Justice Ofori and the Municipal Chief Executive of Weija- Gbawe, Mr Patrick Kumor.
The Ghana Leadership Awards recognises individual leaders and organisations that impact society positively.
