After 21 years with Hasaacas Ladies, Yussif Basigi has resigned. Basigi was instrumental in the founding of the Sekondi-based team in 2003. He subsequently served on the technical team, eventually rising to the position of head coach. According to the Ghana Football Association, Basigi is the longest-serving coach in women's club football in Ghana. He recently returned to Ghana after leading the Black Princesses at the 2024 Colombia U-20 Women's World Cup. Under Yussif Basigi's leadership, Hasaacas Ladies achieved many successes, including winning the first Ghana Women's Premier League by defeating Fabulous Ladies in the final. The team won four more league titles. According to Joy News, Basigi, 52, left Ghana for Tanzania over the weekend. He is expected to sign with Tanzania's Simba Queens.
