Widow Appeals to President Mahama for Payment of Outstanding Debts

Amman:Agnes Abeidu, an organiser of the Controlled Food Suppliers Association (CFSA), has made a heartfelt appeal to President John Dramani Mahama to pay the outstanding debts owed to the association. The delay in payment has left her unable to meet her family's needs and settle her children's school fees.

According to Ghana Web, Abeidu expressed her desperation during an emotional appearance on UTV, where she revealed that she is under pressure from creditors due to unpaid debts. Some creditors have allegedly resorted to cursing her and threatening to involve the police.

The widow specifically addressed President Mahama in her plea, emphasizing her need to pay her children's school fees. She highlighted the increasing difficulty of her situation, noting that the pressure from creditors has made life unbearable and disrupted her peace at home.

Abeidu's appeal was filled with emotion as she urged the government to fulfill its financial obligations to the association, which would enable her to meet her financial responsibilities and ensure her children's education.
