Martha Ankomah, a well-known Ghanaian actress and official brand ambassador for GTP Ghana Limited has reaffirmed the company’s desire for global recognition.
She stated that the company’s officials have made it a priority to see the brand establish itself on the global market.
Speaking to journalists on the sidelines of GTP’s relaunch program today, Monday, August 8, at its factory premises in Tema, she added that they will use effective promotion strategies to ensure their goal is met.
“As you know, for the past years, I have been promoting and making sure that the brand GTP is selling worldwide, so we will keep on with the promotion and as we have moved from timeless to “Life. Styled,” we hope that our brand becomes a global one,” she said.
The GTP has rebranded itself aiming at outdooring the new design and rebranding of GTP from “timeless” to “Life. Styled.”
This also focuses on bringing new products to the market, adding value and expanding its manufacturing base.
Miss Fatoumata Doro, the Managing Director (MD) for Vlisco Ghana-GTP Fashion Limited, speaking on the sidelines of the event, explained in detail the purpose of the relaunch. She stated, “Today what we did was to relaunch the brand, but beyond that, there is a whole transformation of the new TSA, which is a blissful Ghana.”
She continues, “We want to sustain our growth and become innovative and always come up with new designs to redefine our business. We are also going to provide support for about 5,000 Ghanaian tailors in about 5 to 6 years to come.”
