Watch as Savannah Regional chairs of NPP and NDC ‘face off’ in a dance battle


It was a sight to behold as the leaders of the two main political parties (NPP and NDC) in the Savannah region, entertained patrons of a youth gala festival.

The two political opponents were seen exhibiting rigorous moves during a dance competition held at a youth gala festival as part of the 48th Gonjaland Youth Diaries.

The NPP Savannah Regional Chairman, Alhaji Iddrisu Sulemana, was spotted in a white tracksuit and an ‘NPP-Bawumia inscribed shirt’, with a pair of sneakers to match.

His counterpart, Alhaji Imoro Seidu from the NDC, was also spotted in a black tracksuit with an NDC shirt and a pair of sneakers to match.

The two were seen grooving to Daddy Lumba’s ‘Aben Waha’, amidst cheers from the packed crowd.

Background

The dance competition which forms part of the youth gala festival, was aimed at putting an end to the hostility between the two main political parties in the area.

The ‘galafest’, which was patronized by residents of the region was also aimed at creating a peaceful environment ahead
of the celebration of the first anniversary of Yagbonwura Bii-Kunuto Jewu Soale I.
