Accra: A lady, popular on TikTok, has come forward with allegations against Ghanaian social commentator Appiah Stadium, claiming he embarrassed and left her stranded at a restaurant after she declined an invitation to visit his room at a popular Accra apartment.
According to Ghana Web, the woman recounted in a video shared on social media how she allegedly met Appiah Stadium for the first time after an individual contacted her on TikTok requesting her phone number on his behalf. She explained that she initially had no idea who Appiah Stadium was when his name was first mentioned, even after being sent his picture.
She further detailed that after sharing her contact details, Appiah Stadium called and insisted on meeting her before he left town the following day. Believing the meeting was likely for a business opportunity or promotional discussion, she agreed to meet him. The lady alleged that she was asked to book a ride, with Appiah Stadium assuring her he would cover the cost. Initially directed to Signature Apartments, she was later asked to meet him at The Gallery Apartments.
Upon her arrival, they settled at a restaurant and engaged in casual conversation about her TikTok activities, business ventures, and other general topics while she had something to eat. However, noticing the lack of clarity on the purpose of the meeting, she directly asked Appiah Stadium about his intentions.
According to the woman, when she declined his subsequent invitation to his room, his demeanor changed. She recounted that he paused, started scrolling through his phone, then stood up, apologized, and walked away, leaving her alone. The woman said she waited for about 15 minutes, expecting him to return after taking what appeared to be a phone call.
When attempts to reach him failed and his phone appeared to be switched off, she concluded that he had abandoned her because she refused to visit his room. She described the incident as humiliating, stating that what hurt her most was not the invitation itself but the manner in which she was treated afterward.
