London: Legendary footballer Thierry Henry has backed Kylian Mbapp© as the deserving candidate for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, which is set to be announced soon.

He argued that those opposing Mbapp©'s candidacy because he went trophyless are misguided, noting that players have won the prestigious accolade without securing titles.
