‘The hair around my wife’s navel, behind her waist captivated me’ – Oteele on when they first met

Kumawood actor Stephen Yao Mawunyo, popularly known as ‘Oteele’, has revealed that his wife’s happy trails (the delicate line of hair descending from her navel to the pubic area), first captured his heart.

Oteele said he was equally enchanted by the hair at the lower part of her back.

In an interview with GHPage TV, the Kumawwod actor reminisced about their first encounter on a film set, which left him with an unwavering belief that she was his destined partner.

“Ten years ago, on a movie set, she was directing. What really drew me to her was a moment of vulnerability when she was changing her clothes due to fatigue.

“I vividly remember how I felt when she lifted her shirt and revealed her belly button and the trail of hair leading down her pubic area. When she turned around, the hair at the back of her waist fascinated me. I felt compelled to keep that beauty to myself, so I suggested she entered the room to change.

“I have seen different types of hair, but the uniqueness of her hair inspired me. Perhap
s it was divine intervention that I noticed these features, drawing me closer to her as if she was meant for me,” he reflected.

He continued, “After our paths diverged on set, she returned to her hometown, Asante Akyem Agogo. I vowed to visit, and one day, I did. She had a large shop and hosted me with a meal of plantain and kontomire sauce with koobi. The hospitality was so warm that before I knew it had spent a week.”

Oteele’s wife also shared her perspective, stating that his inclusive vision of their future convinced her to build a life with him.

“I sought a partner who envisioned a shared future, someone who included me in his dreams and he always did,” she said.

“And if given another chance at life, I’d choose him all over again,” she affirmed.
