Tano south: Some farming communities in the Tano South Municipality of the Ahafo Region have expressed their gratitude to Mr. Charles Akwasi Asiedu, the Member of Parliament for the area, for extending electricity to their communities.

According to Ghana News Agency, during a visit to the area, the community members shared their excitement about being connected to the national electricity grid and encouraged the MP to continue addressing their development needs. Mr. Kwaku Solomon, a youth leader at Asukese, stated, "I will use this opportunity to thank our MP for remembering the communities and providing us with the electricity," highlighting that the previous administration had promised but failed to extend electricity to their community.

At Mansopa, community members urged the MP to improve the poor condition of roads in the area to facilitate movement and boost economic activities. Mr. Asiedu informed the GNA that he had successfully connected 11 communities to the national grid as part of his rural electrification projects. These communities include Mansopa, Asukesu, Mawaniso, Asouboye, Bofoaka, and other farming areas.
