Millicent Amankwah Yeboah's political career began when she won the Sunyani West parliamentary seat under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) banner in the December 2024 general election. She defeated the incumbent New Patriotic Party (NPP) MP, Ignatius Baffour-Awuah, securing 57.64% of the votes against his 42.36%, while the People's National Convention's candidate received no votes. Her victory signified a shift from her previous career in business management and consultancy into active politics.
Prior to her parliamentary role, Amankwah Yeboah served as a branch manager for Verna Mineral Water and later as Managing Director of MEA Connect Consultants.
