Assin South: Rev. John Ntim Fordjour, the Member of Parliament for the Assin South Constituency, has embarked on a tour of several communities to rally support for the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and encourage residents to safeguard the government’s beneficial policies. The visit provided him the opportunity to engage with the electorate and reflect on his contributions that have shaped the constituency.
According to Ghana News Agency, Rev. Fordjour’s tour included stops in Assin Ochiso, Hasowodze, and Nyamebekyere. During these visits, he emphasized the significance of protecting the Free Senior High School (FSHS) program, which he described as a ‘game changer’ for many young Ghanaians. The program has increased access to education, particularly benefiting students from low-income backgrounds.
Rev. Fordjour praised the constituents for their support of the NPP and urged them to remain loyal to the party to continue benefiting from developmental projects. Throughout his tour, he was met by enthusiastic suppor
ters and accompanied by other prominent party members.
Nana Kofi Acquah I, the Odikro (Chief) of Assin Nyamebekyere, expressed gratitude to Rev. Fordjour for the improved road network and other developmental initiatives in the constituency. He pledged his complete support for the MP and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the NPP’s Presidential Candidate, urging the people of Assin South to back this cause.
