Twifo hemang: Some residents of Twifo Hemang in the Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira District of the Central Region have urgently called on the government to finish the Agenda 111 hospital project. The facility is intended to serve as the district's primary healthcare facility.
According to Ghana News Agency, the current situation requires major medical cases to be referred to the Twifo Atti-Morkwa District Hospital. The unfinished hospital, which is approximately 70 percent complete, already contains essential equipment, including air conditioners.
Mr. Ofori Arthur and Mr. Twum Barimah, who spoke on behalf of the community members, stressed the importance of such vital projects on the lives of the people. They implored the government to allocate the necessary resources for the project's completion.
Mr. Patrick Fiable, the District Chief Executive for Twifo Hemang-Lower-Denkyira, mentioned in an interview that the government had prioritized the hospital project, aiming for its completion by the end of the year. He stated that the hospital, once completed, would serve the Twifo-Hemang-Lower Area, making healthcare accessible to all.
