The resurfaced clip, originally shared by Metro TV on June 27, 2026, features the prophet on Good Afternoon Ghana, confidently forecasting the team's early exit.
According to Ghana Web, the prophet's prophecy has drawn significant attention on social media after Ghana's unexpected qualification for the knockout round. During his interview, Prophet Clement Testimony was adamant that the Black Stars would not progress beyond the group stage. He repeatedly emphasized, "They [Black Stars] will not go anywhere," urging Ghanaians to prepare for a swift return home after the group matches.
The prophet attributed his prediction to certain unspecified actions not being undertaken by the authorities, which led him to believe the team would underperform. He expressed, "The things that were supposed to be done were not done, so from where I sit, I don't see them doing well. I don't see us going beyond the group stages. That's it."
