Accra: Prophet Nana Agyemang Owusu has called on Ghanaians to support young people by creating opportunities and offering guidance to help them discover their purpose in life. Speaking during his "Open Heavens" programme on Saturday, June 27, 2026, the renowned preacher stressed the need for communities, churches, and families to collectively invest in the future of the youth.
According to Ghana Web, the Head Pastor of Prophet Nana Agyemang Ministries highlighted the plight of many young people who are roaming the streets without direction and require guidance and opportunities to become productive members of society. He urged individuals in positions to assist others to extend a helping hand, whether through employment, financial support, mentorship, or spiritual guidance.
"I think we should take this message to our various communities, our homes, our churches, and our families, and help people discover their purpose in life in any way we can, either in kind, spiritually, or in cash. This will go a long way to transform our youth and give hope to the next generation," he added.
Also speaking at the programme was the Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), Apostle Francis Amoako Attah, who commended Prophet Nana Agyemang Owusu for organising the gathering. He noted that the programme was designed to inspire hope and bring about spiritual renewal among participants.
Apostle Amoako Attah encouraged Ghanaians to have faith in themselves, stating that success is determined not only by what people see but by what they believe. "The heaven will open for us and we will be able to accomplish whatever we are going to do," he said.
He also challenged Christians to complement prayer with hard work and action. "After prayers, we must go out there and work. We must work towards the prayers we have prayed. Don't only pray and close your eyes; you have to be diligent," he advised. Apostle Amoako Attah further urged believers to abandon the mindset of expecting miracles without effort, emphasizing that "the days of manna raining from heaven are over."
