Presiding Member Enhances Healthcare Delivery with Donation to Kadema Health Centre

Kadema: Mr Robert Akpara Agaab, the Presiding Member of the Builsa North Municipal Assembly, has donated an array of medicines and clinical supplies to the Kadema Health Centre to bolster healthcare service delivery.

According to Ghana News Agency, the donation includes essential pharmaceuticals and equipment like Ceftriaxone, Ciprofloxacin, Intravenous (IV) Metronidazole, Omeprazole capsules, Nifedipine, Promethazine injections, IV infusions, Folic Acid tablets, Diclofenac gel, various sizes of cannulas, syringes, and bulk boxes of gloves. This initiative aims to address chronic shortages and enhance healthcare quality within the Municipality.

During a brief presentation ceremony, Mr Agaab, also the Assembly Member for the Banyansa-Gadem Electoral Area, stated that the donation was a response to an urgent appeal from Mr Lawrence Apam Awaafo, the facility's Physician Assistant. The intervention was supported by Mr James Agalga, the Member of Parliament for the area, and contributions from friends and philanthropists. Mr Agaab emphasized his commitment to improving the facility's welfare and urged staff to utilize the supplies effectively for patient benefit.

Receiving the items, Mr Awaafo expressed gratitude to the Presiding Member, noting the donation's significant impact on alleviating operational pressures. He assured that the supplies would be managed efficiently to improve service delivery and called for continued support to enhance the facility's capacity further.
