Accra: President John Dramani Mahama announced plans to appoint new Defence and Environment, Science and Technology Ministers following the upcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations. The announcement was made during a courtesy visit by Sheikh Dr Amin Bonsu, National Chairman of the Ghana Muslim Mission, at the Presidency in Accra.
According to Ghana News Agency, the delegation visited the Presidency to congratulate President Mahama on his victory in the December 7, 2024, general election and to discuss issues facing Islamic educational institutions under the Ghana Muslim Mission.
