Parliament has scheduled 15th February 2023 to begin its probe into Covid-19 expenditures.
This was revealed by Minority Leader Cassiel Ato Forson when the leadership from both sides of the house met the press today, Wednesday, 8 February 2023, to outline some activities of the first meeting of the third session of parliament which began on Tuesday, 7 February 2023.
He explained that the hearing will be done in public.
Dr Forson also called for breaks on tax exemptions for One District-One Factory projects in order to raise enough revenue to support the fiscal budget.
For his part, Majority Leader Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu said the 1D1F tax waivers were predicated on the old regime, which is, the exception law.
