NPP Vets Constituency Executive-Hopefuls in Hohoe

Accra: The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has begun vetting of aspirants for the various positions of the Party at the Constituency level in Hohoe.

According to Ghana News Agency, the two-day exercise is expected to vet 32 aspirants for the positions of Chairman, First and Second Vice Chairman, Secretary, Deputy Secretary, Organiser, Youth Organiser, Women Organiser, Treasurer, Nasara Organiser, and Communication. Mr Anthony Akpah, Secretary of the Elections Committee, stated that the results of the vetting would be communicated after the vetting process and followed with balloting for positions on the ballot for voting.

He further explained that the NPP's reorganisation commenced from the polling stations to the electoral areas, with the constituency elections being the next on the Party's schedule. Mr Akpah noted that the process had been smooth, emphasizing that as a Party affair, members understood the importance of maintaining friendly engagements over disagreements.

He also mentioned that the Constituency elections were scheduled for July 11, 2026.
